Why This Is Important

Linda Antonsson is the owner of westeros.org, a fan site of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series and one of the largest in the fandom. She has perpetrated racism and misogyny and harassed specific parts of the fandom, primarily through her account on Tumblr.com, hippoiathanatoi.tumblr.com. Ms. Antonsson administrates one of the largest fan sites of the series, enjoys behind-the-scenes access to the HBO adaptation and was dedicated A Dance with Dragons, Mr. Martin’s most recent novel. We petition George R. R. Martin to publicly denounce Linda Antonsson. In light of her behavior, she does not speak for us or represent our fandom.
